Which LDAP directory servers are supported?

Tarantella software uses the standard LDAP version 3 protocol.

You should be able to use the LDAP login authority and the LDAP search methods for web server authentication with any LDAPv3-compliant directory server. We have tested, and support, this functionality on the following directory servers:

Microsoft Active Directory Server; and
Sun™ ONE Directory Server 4.1+ (formerly known as Netscape or iPlanet).

Other directory servers may work, but are not currently supported.

Directory Services Integration (the LDAP webtop search functionality) is supported only with Sun ONE Directory Server 4.1+. Again, other directory servers may work, but are not currently supported.
