Attributes on the Security Properties For... panel of
Array Manager are security settings for a particular array
member. The attributes apply independently to each
Tarantella server.
|
Connection Types | --security-connectiontypes types |
- The possible connection types, and their current status.
- Check the box for each connection type you want to make
available to users.
- From the command line, valid settings are
std
(standard connections only), ssl (secure connections
only) or std,ssl (both standard and secure
connections).
- Disabled types are not installed on this Tarantella
server.
|
SSL Accelerator Support:
Accept plaintext on secure port | --security-acceptplaintext 1 | 0 |
- Check the box to enable support for an external SSL accelerator.
- Checking this box allows the SSL Daemon to accept plain text traffic
and pass it on to Tarantella server as if it was SSL traffic it had decoded.
- This attribute is only available if you have installed a Tarantella Security license key.
|
If SSL Daemon Doesn't Start | --security-ssldaemon-failmode reducesecurity | stopserver |
- The action to take if the SSL Daemon, part of the
Tarantella Security Pack, fails to start.
- Choose Allow Standard Connections Only (reducesecurity) if you
want the Tarantella server to continue running as if the
Tarantella Security Pack is not installed. Users configured for secure
connections will receive standard connections.
|
Firewall Forwarding URL | --security-firewallurl server_url |
- The absolute URL to forward all web server traffic not related to
Tarantella.
- Use this feature if you plan to run Tarantella on the
same port as your web server so that you don't have to open any
additional ports in your firewall.
- This attribute is only available if you have installed a Tarantella Security license key.
