Tarantella Enhancement Modules

Administrators should install Tarantella Enhancement Modules on application servers to provide support for some features.

Tarantella Enhancement Module for Microsoft Windows 2000/2003

Install this module on a Microsoft Windows 2000/2003 application server to provide support for client drive mapping and advanced load management. Client drive mapping lets users access the drives on their client device from applications running on the application server. Advanced load management allows Tarantella to launch an application on the least-loaded application server. See Help for more information.

Download the Tarantella Enhancement Module, temwin32.exe, to a temporary directory on the Windows 2000/2003 application server.
Log in to the Windows 2000/2003 server as a user with administrator privileges, and then double-click temwin32.exe to install the Tarantella Enhancement Module.
Follow the instructions on your screen.

Tarantella Enhancement Module for UNIX/Linux

Install this module on a UNIX or Linux application server to provide support for advanced load management. This allows Tarantella to launch an application on the least-loaded application server. See Help for more information.

Intel Linux

Download the Tarantella Enhancement Module, temi3li.shx, to a temporary directory on your application server. If your browser tries to display the file rather than download it, right-click the link and choose Save As.
Log in to the application server as root, and install the Tarantella Enhancement Module by typing sh temi3li.shx.
Follow the instructions on your screen.
